One Year Anniversary / Special Birthday QUEER OPEN MIC!

Why: Gearing up to celebrate the one year anniversary of Queer Open Mic AND her 31st birthday, this September 9th QOM founder Cindy M. Emch with co-host Sherilyn Connelly come together to bring the best of San Francisco’s literati to the QOM stage for a extra special Queer Open Mic. Featuring: Daphne Gottlieb, Michelle Tea, Meliza Banales, solidad decosta, Horehound Stillpoint, Thea Hillman, Lauren Wheeler and more!

I have a new chapbook coming out, which all things going well, will be available at the queer open mic gig. It's called "I'll eat you with my teeth," and I'm totally excited about it. Fun for the entire family, and it's only $7 – such a deal! As always, my previous chapbooks (four in all) are still available, as is my spoken word CD "Manifesto."
